About Dave
I am a lifelong Democrat and New Yorker, and have lived in LaGrange with my wife, MaryEllen, for over 30 years. I am retired, after a 40-year plus career in information technology. I will bring a lifetime of business experience to Dutchess County government.
I believe strongly in the core values of our party:
An economy that works for all;
lowering costs for working families and growing the middle class;
lowering consumer prices;
fighting climate change;
protecting reproductive rights and marriage equality;
a path to citizenship for more immigrants;
addressing the massive student loan debt;
build more affordable housing;
continuous improvements to our health care system, because health care should be a right and not a privilege.
Dutchess County has many of the same problems as the rest of the country: economic inequality, a shortage of affordable housing, and a lack of good paying jobs. We also have specific issues, including solid waste disposal, a lack of mental health services, a lack of senior services, and many parts of the county have inadequate emergency medical services, as well as inadequate broadband access.
I will fight hard to solve such problems in our county and am eager to partner with our town board and supervisor to proudly represent the Town of LaGrange on the Dutchess County Legislature.
I hope to earn your trust and your vote.
